Hi, I’m Baptiste Deboutte. A game developer with a passion for gameplay and in world mechanics. I graduated DAE in 2014 and Woolfe: The red hood diaries is the first full release title that I had the chance to work on.
My love for games and game mechanics has been with me since I was young, I played Freddy Fish alongside Doom and Quake on the PC’s my grandfather fixed for me. My first console (a PS2) sealed the deal and I was sold on gaming ever since. I have played World of Warcraft, the entire set of God of War games, Final Fantasy, Civilization is still a favorite and so on. When the chance to study game development came up I took it without even doubting because I felt it was the choice for me that was going to define the rest of my life.
Since then I have created several games in several API’s and I have studied older games and game mechanics by collecting consoles and games that stem from before my gaming days (NES, SNES, N64). The games I play have evolved from the popular PS games to indie titles and AAA titles that have the guts to do something new and refreshing in either story or gameplay.
